This morning we woke up early and headed over to Ballard to Cafe Besalu. They have amazing hand made pastries that are to die for! We haven't been there in forever so we figured a little pastry indulgence couldn't kill us. We tried their chocolate croissant (it had a much fancier french name, but it was really just chocolate in a croissant), their apple filled croissant (another one that had a fancy french name) and this weird little cake-like pastry that is orange flavored with dried cranberries. All were DELICIOUS especially since we washed them down with cappuccinos. Yes, we are those kind of people now. Now that we're full of caffeine and pastry, we're going to clean the apartment up, rearrange the boxes so we can actually get around the house, and head out to run some errands.
